by good gravy do you mean sausage gravy or bacon gravy because I haven't found any bacon gravy anywhere but my kitchen...
let me know if there is place that makes it...

I don't like Der Dutchman's or Cracker Barrel's or IHOP's sausage gravy. Their gravies taste like gummy flour to me. It's been a few years since I tried Der Dutchman's so possibly they changed the recipe. But their iced teas are top notch. and Der Dutchman's fried chicken (called broasted chicken) is second to none.

Bob Evans has sausage gravy that is excellent. It's different in their restaurant vs what is sold frozen in supermarkets. Their iced tea is also top notch.

First Watch, which only sells breakfast and lunch, doesn't even have sausage gravy on the menu.

Burger King used to have biscuits and gravy on their breakfast menu. It was decent- not great but it was good enough. Not sure if they still have it.

At the supermarket, Banquet now has a sausage gravy pot pie option which is salty, but tastes pretty good and the crust crisps nicely when microwaved.

That might be great restaurant for sausage gravy and biscuits but unfortunately not for bacon gravy...
and First Watch is all about healthy--so there is no way gravy of any ilk would be on the menu.
I think Scrambles when is south of First Watch in Osprey/Nokomis area might have gravy on menu but never tried it although we have eaten there several times and it is ok--B to B+ on most occasions...

Bud's Place! and Barbara's too!'s resturant in Venice has great sausage gravy and bisquets. It is a family run business on 41, I know it's not in Sarasota but it's the best I've had at a resturant in along time. Better than Cracker Barrell or Bob Evans

Why on earth was this THREE YEAR OLD thread about biscuit eating in lousy Yoder's or in TN ???

Most residents of Sarasota-Manatee and the Tampa Bay area didn't grow up eating this stuff in the first place !
and Yoder's pies are any better than most Publix.

Wow, a 3 year old thread revived? Close this thread...LOL
