We've been looking at houses in Venice in this development on their web site. Anyone been there for real, either to look around, or maybe already have purchased there? Just wondering about the pros and cons of your experiences with this builder/location. Thanks so much.

I have sold two new homes in this community. They are still building and they have some resale homes in there too. Both of my buyers like the community. It has a lot of nice resort style amenities. It is close enough to Venice Beach but yet not right in the heart of Venice. The sales staff and builders were very easy to work with. They also have recommended tradespeople if you want something done after moving in, like adding on to your lanai or something.

We are currently building at Islandwalk - they broke ground on our home last week. I have been very happy with my experiences with the staff at Islandwalk. They were very nice and easy to work with while we were looking and making our decision, and everyone is very professional. Here's a link to my previous post about our home search in Venice:
