IMHO, heterosexual people are wired to enjoy the company of the opposite sex. What makes men a status symbol at that age is they are hard to get. It is a matter of supply and demand. Women outlive men, so there are more older women than men. If men are hard to get, it says you have something special if you snagged one. He doesn't have to be perfect because you aren't going to marry him. And whatever faults he has won't annoy you for very long. (joke).

And that also doesn't mean those women who don't have a man are lonely and have no self worth. At that age, men are an exotic hard to get toy, like old guys with their fancy cars. Every man who does not own an exotic car is not desperate and lacking self worth.
I agree with your concept. I would say that this is true. What got me is what you said in a previous post "plenty of older women will put up with just about any guy." To me that means in the high 90% range.

As with all, if you were an ass when you were younger, there is a good chance that you are an ass when you are old. And I can see older people being "more tolerant" for the sake that you know you are not on the earth too much longer. IMHO as it is your opinion to say "just about any guy" it doesn't show anything positive towards older women.

Signed,
Will be old one day.

Just for the record, it was yourown2feet who said "just about any guy", not me.

I was thinking in terms of looks, sparkling personality, money. I wasn't thinking ass. As just as you said, ass when young, ass when old. Same concept applies to women. Tolerate ass when young, tolerate ass when old. But that doesn't say anything about older women. That says something about the category of women who tolerate jerks.
