...Lakewood Ranch has been having bank robberies, ATM robberies, and now this with the student.....not even LWR is exempt from Manatee County crime. However, the muder was not at LWR, it was in east Bradenton where two students had gone in to buy weed and got stopped by two fellow students. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time can get you shot here. There's more to the story, you better believe than just pot & a murder. I imagine the two students with the guns had issues with the ones who came in to buy drugs. The student who's gun went off, most likely didn't mean for it to happen but it does when boys play with big boy toys. We just got the Stacey Williams issue to trial and now this...it's a mess.

Big Whoop
Do you really think you could prevent people from committing suicide if there were no gun shows?
I mean really!
My Dad committed suicide 12 years ago. Oh my, alert the media, people are doing it everywhere (even in jail). They don't need a gun in order to commit suicide.
I haven't a clue how old you are, your background or anything else but let's face it, all of this has become a part of life.
You can sit at the computer all day punching keys saying what should or shouldn't be done when there is really only one answer.
Let's all go to Church, start praying and then see what happens.
So many want God out of our schools and off our money.
IT WILL GET WORSE THAN EVER!!
Lets get God back in the schools and back in peoples homes and we'll see a drastic change for the better in everything.

The shooting were not suicide, they were MURDER. The kid from Lakewood Ranch High commited a MURDER, not a suicide. There is a difference.

Commiting a murder is much worse than commiting a suicide, and the kid should go to jail for a LONG time.

I don't know. Maybe Parrish, but it's nothing but farmland. There isn't ANYTHING out there.
