My family and I will be moving to the Bradenton area in July for work. We are coming from Palm Bay where we just purchased a brand new house less than a year ago in a gated community with community amenities like pools and playgrounds. We have a 2.5 year old and a newborn and really love our current home and community but my job here is going downhill and the offer I got from a place in St. Pete is too good to pass up. We will be trying to rent our home here for about $1500 a month and were hoping to find something in the Bradenton area for a similar price in a similar community. Our home here is 4 beds, 2.5 baths, just over 2300 sq ft. with a 3 car garage and fenced in yard for our dogs, although a 3/2 with an office and/or bonus room would be alright. I also realize that finding a 3-car garage will be difficult so a 2-car garage is fine.
If anyone has any advice on specific neighborhoods to look at I would appreciate it. My commute will be to downtown St. Pete and I would like to keep it under 35 minutes or so. We did take one trip over there already and found a great daycare in Lakewood Ranch for my daughter. So ideally we would live in that area (I would guess no further south than University??) and I would commute into St. Pete each day.
Thanks in advance.

There are 4/2.5 and 4/3 rentals in the area. It looks like the lowest is $1750/mo. Check the www.myfloridahomemls.com website to see what is available.

Thanks for the link. Is there a way to search including community amenities or do you just have to know the area?

Honestly, I'm not sure since I use the full MLS, not the customer version. I know the mobile app doesn't allow the user to drill down into community features so I doubt it. An agent can set up a search for you that will automatically email you all current and future listings that match your criteria.
