Hi, does anyone know of which MH communities in Venice allow pets? Not any size goes, but one 10 lb ShihTzu size. Also which of these is lot owned versus lot rental. Thanks .

Sandalwood Park Co-op off Center Rd. It has a community pool, clubhouse, bocce courts, shuffleboard, activities. Max pet weight is 20lbs. 55+ community.
Harbor Lights Mobile Home Park Co-Op ., just over the north bridge. 2 pets, no weight restrictions. The only restrictions is on "aggressive breeds". 55+ community. Heated pool, lighted tennis court, shuffle board, wood shop, activities.
Japanese Gardens Co-Op , off of Manasota Beach Rd. One pet up to 40 pounds. 55+ community. The clubhouse is a modern facility with two large kitchens, dance floor, stages, professional bingo board, PA system, large screen TV. It is complimented with a library, billiard room, ping pong area, laundry and drying bay. Japanese Gardens has a beautiful pond and fountain with a pleasant park setting. The newly renovated (December 2008) heated pool is a great attraction and a focal point of the social life in the community. They also enjoy world class bocce and shuffle board courts and challenging horseshoe pits.
Venice Isle Co-Op , off of US 41 bypass. One small pet up to 20 lbs. 55+ community. Two clubhouses, two heated pools, Jacuzzi, tennis, bocce, shuffleboard.
Note that most parks have a certain pet section. Hope this helps
