How was your Halloween? (new home, neighborhood, to buy)

Ours was very busy - must have had a kid a minute - almost ran out of candy. All of the kids were very polite.

My husband took our boys out - so happy for our great neighborhood where many participated.

A great night. We must have had close to 200 kids (almost all with parents). Here they come on flatbeds like a hayride and decorated golf carts. Most people sit outside so the kids know which houses to go to. The kids were polite (some with prompting from their parents-that's how your raise a child with manners!).

We had tons of kids show up. First Halloween for us in this neighborhood. Had 5 bags of candy (220 pieces), ran out a little after 8pm, although we were giving each kid like 3 pieces since they were so small. Have to buy more next year.

Funniest one we had was 3 kids (same family). First kid says, "is this ....." , and says the address. I said yes, so the next kid dressed as a delivery person says "pizza delivery" and opens an empty pizza box. The third kid, dressed like the Pillsbury dough boy says, "I ate it."

How nice that you found another positive about your new home. Sounds like a great experience. I haven't lived in an area where kids trick or treat for 25 years. I miss it. Glad you have it.
