Unfortunately will be here alone on Thanksgiving. So I'm looking for a restaurant that will be open that serves dark meat Turkey! In particular would like a buffet-style with a turkey carving station where I can have all-I-can-eat dark meat which I crave for but only get a chance to eat once a year. Anyone know any restaurants that would fit my craving?

Der Dutchman has Thanksgiving buffet 10:30 am - 5 pm. $21.99/adults, 12 & under $8.99
Great place for home-style cooking, plus you can have all of the dark meat you want.

There is no reason not to have dark meat turkey more than once a year--
buy drumsticks and bake/roast them...

Golden Corral. Good, plentiful, and pretty good food CHEAP.

That's true. And I'm sure they'll have turkey carving stations there, and you could request dark meat- as many times as you want.

Try Duffs on 41 in Bradenton. Always a turkey carving station. Very fresh veggies, yummy desserts. Definitely better than Golden Corral

Thanks for all the recommendations. Ended up going to Der Dutchman as it was the closest. The line for a table was about a mile long! Fortunately they had a pick-up section for to-go orders where I only waited about 20 minutes; otherwise it would have been a Denny's hamburger, LOL.
