Desperately trying to find a condo or villa or someplace that has a community pool that will allow us to bring our golden retriever . I'm not even going to narrow it down to any specific city or area, but we do want to be in close proximity of the beach . This will be full-time residence for us .

If anyone knows of such a place , I would love to have that information . Thank you so much .

What is your price range? That info will help.

I can think of dozens...
Half of our neighbors, owners in our community have the ubiquitous 'Florida dog', eg small and of a couple breeds, but many have large dogs: Goldens, Dobermans, et al.

As a renter you will face HOA/COA rules that often limit/prohibit dogs, pets, a turtle in a fish bowl. As a buyer, you will have many options, imo.

Even Leonbergers can only sometimes get that big! And that's a cross between a Newfoundland, Saint Bernard and a Pyrenean Mountain Dog! That's one hell of a weight limit.
