Seeking Recommendation - Someone to Install Dresser Drawer Glides / Slides (cabinets, price)

Thanks for any recommendations. So far, no luck connecting with anyone willing or able to do this job.


We are seeking a carpenter / handyman, or someone who can install some drawer glides / slides on the drawers of 2 dressers. Total of 16 drawers. The drawers tip out and need to be stabilized to open & close well. It’s a little too much of a job for us (seniors), and Lowe’s doesn’t have the sizes we need anyway. If anyone can recommend someone who is willing & able do this type of job, thanks so much in advance for a recommendation – appreciated!

I just got a call for a job like this. The space for slides has to be designed into the cabinets, otherwise the cabinets will have to be altered to make the space. This is rarely cost effective. Can it be done? Sure, but unless it's a sentimental piece, it's rarely worth it.

Update: We found someone to do our job – got a reference from someone else he did work for. He did a good job several days ago for a reasonable price.
