Can some tell me, I can order government income tax transcripts by attending the tax office in Sarasota? I have tried calling and cannot reach a human. I have tried the website and the 800 number and there seems to be no way to order them by phone they way they used to. I need them for the past three years for an application for my U.S. citizenship. I have sent a form in the mail but that was about a month ago and still no response.
We certainly don't mind driving to Sarasota and getting in line, but wondered if anyone has recently done this before we try to reinvent the wheel.

Florida doesn't have an income tax. Do you mean Federal income? If so, the IRS office is located off Cattlemen Rd, first traffic light north of Bee Ridge Rd.
