I will get help from people on this forum and will do so probably even from you. His posts are not in the least helpful to anyone and are in fact derogotory to so many people in so many ways I lost count!!
I will offer up any assistance that I can when I see something I can answer also.

Yeah, I blew off his wordsmithiness after the first rant. There's something to be said for brevity.

My two cents:

I arrived in FL from AZ last December. I too was suffering from sticker shock, initially. Hadn't these folks heard there's a recession in town? But alas, I found solace in Charlotte County. I found a furnished 2b2b condo in a good part of PCH and after 4 months, (two weeks ago) I finally sold my Phoenix house at a lil lower than I paid in 2004. But I turned around in 8 days and purchased a beautiful waterfront home in PCH with a dock and boat lift for a lil more than he paid for it in 2003. That's how to play the housing recession. Do your homework. If you have to sell at a loss, make sure you know the current market year conditions we are facing. Sell low, but make it up on the back side and buy low too.

The only thing that will make me happier is to buy a beautiful boat to go on my dock . . . at a recession proof price, of course.
