Default manatee county

Does anyone know what the closing costs would be or are estimated as in Manatee County?

Default Closing Costs

Standard contracts allow for the buyer and seller to pay various costs. As a general rule of thumb, you may want to calculate 3.5% of the sales price to cover closing costs. Of course, there is no "law" that says the buyer or the seller have to pay certain costs. There are, however, "traditional" ways of doing it, but everything in a sales contract is negotiable. Don't let anybody tell you anything different.

Oobie, we paid closing costs on our home, which weren't too bad but I think in todays market you could bargain for the seller/buyer to pay them for you, worth a shot.
Good luck with your new home.

I thought that was you! I mostly read the forums and only give an answer when I am pretty sure I do know what it is.

Take care and let me know if you need any other kind of help. You can also PM me if you want. I know you are possibly looking around the Manatee County area and I have lived here for 37 years. Just ask!
