Their plans within Manatee County and in the Carolina Division, dwarfs more plans for Sarasota County FYI. Some plans are public some are not....plans like at Lorraine and sr70, and plans for perhaps 2 along the very long stretch of 44th which will join LWR blvd/Range RD area all the way to Cortez.

Would you be inferring of additional stores in Sarasota County, or the size of the stores from 28,000 square feet to 61,000 square feet?

Publix's Charlotte Division has a footprint of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

When the residents at the end of Bee Ridge Rd complained that they didn't want a shopping center and they didn't want a large Publix, Publix caved and they built a small one. Now the residents complain that it's too small and have to drive to the Cattlemen Rd store for items the small store doesn't carry.

If Publix's 28m stores are too small (28,000 square feet) and its 45m (45,000 square feet) and 49m (49,000 square feet) stores are large, then 39m (39,000 square feet) stores could be the way to go. The 39m prototype, now with pharmacy drive thru, is coming back with stores in Alabama and North Carolina under construction.
