Rooms2Go have plenty of outlets here in DFW metroplex--sell room sets mainly--probably what some people consider better quality but they sell because they allow people to buy and defer payments for up to 12 mo which to me is the most stupid reason to buy furniture--it is really starting to show wear by the time the bills kick in...
I think you can get some ok pieces there but a lot of it is MDF and veneer--and the styles seem either modern or fairly ornate--just not my style...
young families/couples and people on a budget seem to be the main shoppers in our areas...
Sarasota has a Thomasville store but might be a little pricey---and Haverty's which is more expensive than Rooms2Go but you can still find some "cheap" furniture there because there are veneer finishes and poor construction...
IKEA can have some good items and LazyBoy as well--they do sofas and wood pieces not just recliners...
Kanes in Sarasota is a family-owned business that does designing for major home builders to stage their models---they carry name brand vendors
they are having a big discount/tent sale soon --

the Women's Exchange is a volunteer organization that takes contributions like furniture, jewelry, antiques and sells them to raise money--sort of like upscale GoodWill store so you might be lucky there--items are taken for 60 days and marked down twice if they don't sell--then they are either taken back or donated to the Women's Exchange...

you might also see if there is an estate sale section in the Sarasota paper--I know it is not funny to say this but many people talk about all the older people living in Florida so you can only assume that some of them eventually pass on--
I would think that there would be quite a few estate sales during the week...
Pier 1 can have some nice casual seating
