Another thumbs down for Bradenton
Take a look at this...
WWSB ABC 7 Florida - Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, North Port, Siesta Key Breaking News, Weather, Sports and Traffic on the Suncoast | Woman says she was kidnapped in Bradenton
This is totally disgusting. Where are the people we are paying as taxpayers to stay safe?? Not patrolling the city, apparently.
And what else is going on? Might as well post them here.

This sounds suspicious to me. Either the article was poorly written or she might have a vivid imagination.
I mean he was acting alone and asks her if she wants a ride and then somehow is able to grab her by the hair and get her into his car? Did she stand there and wait for him while he put the car in park and grabbed her hair?
Then without tieing her up he was able to get her to sit there while he drove around for 3 hrs until he released her? Hmmmm?
Call me crazy, but unless there was a gun on her or she was tied up (which isn't mentioned) then I am thinking something is wrong here.

I agree, I read that article and thought it was weird - she may have made it up to get some attention. JMO Not to downplay the issues in Bradenton, that town certainly has crime problems, but just not buying this story, somehow.....

The location where this supposedly happened is fairly busy at any time of day. I find it hard to believe there was no traffic or witness calling 911.

I would tend to agree with all of the post thus far, but let's not forget about the women that was kidnapped of Business 41 a while ago. Even though that isn't the best of areas, she still got kidnapped off of 41 in daylight and it was real. Things can happen even in the most busiest places. It's possible that this is true. This wouldn't be the first time.

Oh good! I am glad I am not the only one thinking this story is alittle far fetched. I am not saying crime doesn't happen. I just think the only crime here is the one commited by the "victim" wasting the policeman's time and tax payers' money.
With the price of gas I don't think any criminal would drive around for 3 hrs. It's too expensive. LOL
She probably was late for work and came up with this story so she wouldn't get in trouble! LOL

Maybe she is cheating on her old man and thought she was busted so made up some crap.
I agree the story sounds strange, who is going to kidnap someone and do nothing?

I do agree with most of these posts, but I won't dismiss it just yet. Again, strange things have happened in strange places.

Suncoast Guy~ Well, maybe she is mentally slow, other than that, I can't see why someone would stand there and wait for a man to get out of his car and come to get her. I'm still betting she made it up for attention or maybe like Alphaman said, she could be cheating and she was trying to get out of being busted.
These people that make up things and send the police on a wild goose chase should be charged with a crime as well as forced to pay for the money that they spent on the investigation.
How could she not have known the type of car or where they were driving for 3 hrs?
I'm still thinking it is a hoax.

I do agree with you. I'm just saying that I would not deem it a "hoax" just yet, wait until any other info is released about this story.
