Afraid to live (Orlando, Sarasota, Bradenton: crime, big house, neighborhood)

Let me say this just once!!
If you're afraid to have your windows open or afraid to drive on certain Streets, you really should MOVE!!
Fear Not but fear itself.

Well good. I think 95% of Bradenton should move than. I know plenty of people in Bradenton that wouldn't live there windows open at night, or leave doors unlocked. You know what, you can drive all the streets in Tallevast, Oneco, Samoset (15th St. E, 301) after midnight, and you can drive U.S. 41 after midnight all you want, and the streets in the crime box, or ANY street in Bradenton after midnight all you want, but let me assure you, I won't. I wouldn't put my life on the line like that.

My address is Bradenton and my windows are open when the temp drops low enough and last night I did leave my door unlocked. I didn't leave it unlocked on purpose but it was unlocked.

I will not live in fear of anyone or anything.
The Good Lord watches over believers and when my time is up. He'll take me. Not some dumb punk with a gun on crack!!
I use a PO Box for my mail and I use the one in Tallevast!!
I work Mon - Fri so believe me. I'm in bed when the weirdos are out as you should be too.
Why is this such a big deal? Live the way you want to.
If YOU hate B-town so much, move to Sarasota. I hear their crime is high too.

That 95% of Bradenton has told you personally they hate living here?
I see about 10 - 15 names over and over on here saying they hate it.
That makes 95% of the population of Bradenton?
I work for a company that deals with Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
The 60 - 75% I talk to say they love it here. That's not to mention the some 40% that don't call my Office for the services we provide.
They have this service done because they like it here and are planning to stay.
By the way, Oneco and Tallevast are NOT Bradenton. That's why they are named Oneco and Tallevast.

I'm POSITIVE they are not the same.
Actually Tallevast is closer in address to Sarasota and Oneco is Oneco.
Do you have access to a map?
Try mapquest.com
Type in Oneco it will show you ONECO, not Bradenton.
Both Oneco and Tallevast have their very own Post Office's too.
The front of the Buildings say Oneco, FL & Tallevast, FL
This rocket science sometimes does get complicated.

Anna Maria, Ellenton, Parrish , Braden River, Holmes Beach, Tallevast, Bradenton, Longboat Key, Terra Ceia, Bradenton Beach, Myakka City, University Park, College Plaza , Oneco, Westgate, Cortez, Palma Sola , Whitney Beach, Duette, & Palmetto.

People do believe that Manatee County is Bradenton and that Bradenton is all of Manatee County.
God forbid someone goes over the bridge into Palmetto or on to Ellenton or Parrish.
Yes, they are indeed in Manatee County but no longer in Bradenton.
If people would just stay away from the area known to all as the Hood or as some call it, Crack town, Bradenton would be ok.
The problem is, one little area and that is all it is makes Bradenton an awful place to live.
That is so far from the truth I laugh when I type these words.
One day my daughter wanted me to dive through there so she could see.
I drove through and it's just like any run down neighborhood would be.
There were people outside, some waved and some looked at us like what are we doing there BUT we weren't shot, we didn't even get a dirty look.
Lighten up!! Know where you're at in any city and you'll be safe.
Those thugs aren't out to get any of us.
They could care less about us as long as we leave them alone, they'll leave us alone.
I'm sure I've talked to a few of them in a store or at a gas station. I live to tell about it!!

I know many, many elderly people and they aren't even afraid.
I never heard of all this bull larky until I got on here looking for an armature photo contest.
