Thanks for the comment on my photo.
I may post more later.
Photography has become a little hobby to me.
I carry my camera literally everywhere.
I do of course have more photos from not around Sarasota/Bradenton.
I take lots of pictures on my travels.

Default Your Photos

You have some great looking photos here.
I wish you had posted where they were all taken.
I saw your pic of Boca Grandes lighthouse.
Were you standing in the water to get that shot?
All are very nice!! I used to live in East Englewood
and Port Charlotte for a while.

You have some pretty cool photos as well lilaclady. What kind of camera are you using to shoot your pictures? They are very clear a crisp!

Actually, I think I was standing in the water to get the lighthouse shot. The little pink house in Placida was taken over by the Fishery Restaurant and the old post office. Over in the fishing village.

I took over 3,000 photos for my website and many of them I just put on a hard drive and didn't use. So, sometimes I get a little fuzzy as to exactly where the picture was taken at.

I thought you must have been in the water to get that shot and also knowing your a real estate agent, I figured that was why you had so many great pics.

My camera is just a cheapy $240.00 Kodak Easyshare 7.1 megapixels with a 10X Zoom. I love the zoom the best.
Some of the pictures were taken on a Fuji Mega something or other. That was my camera before I went zoom happy.
Thanks for coming back and editing. I've been in Venice but didn't recognize that one shop. It looks like a place on St Armands Cr.
I tend to stick to Bradenton and Sarasota most of the time.

Cute little rental cottage out on Manasota Key

Great Blue Heron up in a tree on Manasota Key

Manasota Key Beach

Canopy road leading to the beach

I walked out on Manasota Key to shoot some pictures and it was a couple of days before Christmas and someone had a Christmas tree all set up on the beach. Now that's Florida living!

A few homes out on Manasota Key

Manasota Key

Manasota Key is some nice living!! Been out there many, many times.
It's one of those places you just don't forget.
I also loved what they called Middle Beach and Englewood Beach is just gorgeous now.
Too bad that area is so far from work. I'd love to be back there again but that's a long drive to North Sarasota.

Flamingos from Sarasota Jungle Garden.
Be sure to take quarters to buy food so you can feed them.

I'm guessing this little guy is part of the heron family.
Maybe someone here knows more about him?
I just knew I liked him. Also from Sarasota Jungle Gardens.
He's not caged, he just stays there.
If you haven't been, do your self a favor and go.
Lot's of fun!!

Somebody on here should take some pictures of downtown Bradenton, they have plenty of tagging there.
