He's not caged, he just stays there.

I think this guy is one of the Green Heron's that hang out at the Gardens. Yeah, the flamingos there are amazing to see. You have to watch out though in mating season. They get kind of nasty. One of them actually chased my little one down and was biting at her back. She has a flamingo complex ever since 
The pictures in Venice are on Miami Ave. It's of one of the antique shops that run along the street. Right across from Althea's Restaurant. |

It was funny, I was standing there watching the flamingos and they all started sqwacking and coming toward me.
I told them (I talk to everyone, even the birds) I didn't have anything for them to eat.
Silly me was standing in front of the feed machine. When I realized it,
I found a quarter fast!!
That was so much fun!! I'll go again!!
That's too bad about your little one. I saw some girls there that were frightened by them too but they stand as tall as the children. The kids just don't understand the birds and I'm pretty sure the birds don't understand them.

What do you consider to be downtown Bradenton?
I'll be more than happy to go and take lots of pictures to post. I just want to be sure what area you are referring to.
I aslo see you think Graffiti is ok in Sarasota but not in Bradenton. That's funny!! |
