I don't know what people are talking about, saying Palma Sola Trace is in a high-crime area. It's a very pretty residential development and my Mom has lived next-door for years with no problem. The development only has a couple access points, both from 75th, which I think is good for discouraging crime. There is a nice shopping center with a Bonefish Grill, an upscale restaurant, down the street. Of course, anywhere in Bradenton you must be on your guard. Doors locked, purses secure, etc., but that's also the case in Sarasota and many other places in FL. The location of PST is also very convenient, as Anna Maria Island is right across the causeway....no need to drive through the city of Bradenton to get to the beach.

Can you suggest some neighborhoods near Palma Sola Trace that are nice?
Thanks!

Default Palma Sola Trace

I have a condo in this development and love it. The development is beautiful and clean, condo association is good, never had a problem and it is close to beaches and restaurants - two friends live in Bradenton for 28 years and haven't had a problem - we love it!

Default Check about Chinese Drywall.

Check about Chinese Drywall.

Some of those might have it.

My guess is the price is to high compared to what you might be able to get in the near future.

My 2 cents.

Oobie and Lost, give me a break. The Palma Sola Trace area is Not a bad area. It's right near a Bonefish Grill, Stonewood Grill, shopping and it's close to the beaches. Northwest Bradenton is a great place to live, has lower taxes than Sarasota, has better restaurants on the water and younger people. A $3.3 Mil house just closed in the same 34209 zipcode.

Re Chinese Drywall in Palma Sola Trace. Taylor Morrison sent letters to residents offering a free inspection on properties. NONE was found in our condo and have been given confirmation in writing. If it had been found Taylor Morrison were prepared to foot the bill....Can't ask for any more.
P.S. Great location and agree this is NOT a bad area

That 3.3 mil house has been on the market for over 10 years & if I'm right it was Bobby Bonilla's house. He never even moved in.

I guess it's all a matter of what you feel is a poor neighborhood, car theft, drugs and domestic violence are all a popular part of my average weekend. I live about 8 minutes from Palma Sola Trace. Perhaps the crime in that Subdivision isn't bad, but Bradenton in general has very high crime..My husband and I called the police a number of times.. "we don't mean to be a pain, but we just want a safe area to live in.." the police responded.."then, I'd move out of Bradenton..".. This coming from one of their own officers..
