Need Help! Moving from Boston MA to Sarasota FL area!
Hello All,
I got a job offer in the Sarasota FL area, we are thinking in relocating from Boston MA within the next couple months. Can’t take another WINTER here in Massachusetts! We have a 3 year old and going to rent for the first year.
-I am going to be working in the North/South of Sarasota.
-Can anyone from the area suggest a good area that I should be looking to rent house or apartment close to the highway?
-Any one that had the same experience and would like to share?
-Any other thoughts and suggestions would be Great!
Thank you,

1. Working in the North/South? Are you in sales & therefore working the whole county?
2. You need to be more specific
3. I could help you but I'm a bit lost with what you want to know....
Please regroup & ask again

We came here from Michigan 12 years ago. Loved not having winters. But after the hurricanes and heat in the summers, we are ready to move back north. Not all the way, not willing to do hard winters again, but sick of the summer heat.
Good luck, you may love it here, to each his own. The beaches are great, but even in the heat of summer, you can sweat while swimming. Who knew.

Great! thanks for the feedback! We are going to try! That's why I want to rent first! I am thinking to live around Venice, do you suggest any other family friendly places. I will be working from Venice area up to North of Sarasota!
Thank you Much!

I am an Area Manager, I will be working from Venice area up to North of Sarasota. So any where in this area it will be fine, as long is a nice family friendly place, we like to live inland, not to close from the Ocean!
Thank you,

Venice is a very nice area. There are many new subdivisions from Venice to Bradenton that are very family friendly. The schools are great and Florida is a very child oriented place. Lakewood Ranch is nice, Tara, Panther Ridge. Just depends on how much you can spend.
Good luck to you.

If you have a more modest budget...there are a ton of families living in North Port.

I am going to check it out North Port too. I would like to stay on the $700.00 - 1000.00 Range.
Thanks
