My wife and I have a young daughter and one on the way and we are looking to get out of the NE. My employer has an office in St. Pete and we are trying to find a nice family friendly town to relocate to. Preferably near the ocean or bay - a 45 min commute would be acceptable. Please help we have never been to the area and know nothing about it.

If you're working in St Pete then you might want to focus on Clearwater for housing close to the beach.

According to the stats on CD the Clearwater crimes stats are above the national average, but less than the stats for St. Pete.

You are crazy....don't move here.....the novelty runs out quick and there are NO jobs here......plenty of elderly people though.....I'd give anything to get out of here......give me New England ANY DAY!!!!!!!
