Post Pictures Of Bradentons Bad Areas (Sarasota, Cortez: crime, safe area, living)

Anyone have any to share, I hear a crap ton of talk on here of how bad the city of Bradenton has gotten, like as if it is a war zone of sorts,
I would really like to see some pictures if anyone has any of some of the bad parts of Bradenton, or any pics of gang activity and what not..

I hear there is a lot going on , you might think one has some kinda pics of the hood, or the gangs hanging out on there corner, or the graffiti all over there area fences and buildings?


Anyone have any?

You can google 14th street between Cortez and oh, say 63rd Avenue using google maps...and see for yourself.

I dont know anything about the area, but I also was going to suggest using Google Map's "Street View", or "Skreet View" if you're from the hood.

TM24, do you live in this area? I can't figure out if you are being serious saying Bradenton is a a safe area. Since you are such an expert, I assume you live here.

Anyway, while I am not going to drive to the hood to take pics, I did take this one for you today. It is in Bradenton. 1 mile from Tara Preserves, 2 Miles from Lakewood Ranch and 3 miles from Sarasota. The address is at 6310 53rd Avenue Bradenton. This is in a "nice" part of Bradenton and look at their sign out front!

Nuff said!

I do not currently live in Bradenton,
but know Bradenton and the pace of the city very well,
I go there every year and have lived there for over ten years.

That pic looks like it's off 70.

Why the management of that restaurant still have jobs is beyond me.
What is the purpose of that ?
Are they challenging the criminals to try robbing them,
it's pathetic.
I think we all missed something.
I could not see any corporate place that would allow that kind of message.That is absurd,
even in the worst parts of the worst neighorhoods in america ,I would have to think that would be ridiculous.

Funny how I suggest people to show some pictures of bad areas/things and what not in there city and the best they can come up with is a pretty nice looking Taco Bell / Long John Silvers.

Maybe some of the people in Bradenton are under this illusion from the local media that Bradenton is dangerous,

That is the Taco Bell right by Penny Pincher. I have no idea why the management would do it other than the fact that the lady was shot at Crispers. If you think I made it up, I gave you the address, look it up and call them. I'm an adult and I am not into playing games.

I'm not here to challenge you and I really don't think visiting every year and living somewhere 10 yrs ago makes you an expert.

Hey Jenny,
I'm with you. . . why would anywone argue about a post / picture like that. What kinda of message does that say? I would not want to bring my kids to an area where they feel that it is necessary to post a sign like that. What must the kids think? What kind of reality does that put youngsters in, seeing a sign like that at a public restaurant? It is scary. It brings a lot of other questions to mind.

I guess that isn't good enough for him. He wants to see crime scenes in order to "prove" an area is bad.

I would think that must not be a "big deal" in the area or people would have called headquarters to question the reason why.

We drove by it to get our pool water tested and I said " did that sign say what I thought it said?" We had to drive back to take a double look. I figured that sign is a good example of putting a finger on the pluse of the community.

Plus in that area I have seen the "tagging". So while they might not be hanging out on street corners waving AK47's in this area, the signs of the bowels of society are here. I think some people just choose to ignore them.
