we want to move to bradenton
we want to move to bradenton area. My boyfriend lived there before about 9 yrs ago. I am from small indiana town and dont know what to expect. The town i am from is an rv town. Jobs are no where to be found. Fast food place are not even hiring right now. Is this anybetter there? We have only 5 classifed ads in the paper today. and some were work from home or out of town ads. Can somebody tell me what i could expect moving to bradenton from indiana? Ill say the 80 degree weather sounds loads better than the 15 here.

You don't know what to do?
Well, I'd start with bringing my swim suit down (that's a good place to start), and while you're packing that, pack-up everything else you own, cuz you won't wanta go back!
Oh, bring down a lot of copies of your resume, jobs are tough to get there, but if you try hard, you'll find something. A lot of people complain about how difficult it can be to get a job in Florida, but there really are places where it is impossible.
Have a great trip!

I live in Venice (less pricey) and play in Sarasota. You can make the most out of anywhere you want to be if you have a positive outlook. Jobs aren't easy anywhere to come by but they're out there. If there is anything I can do to help please email me directly. Life is what you make it! : )

Regarding jobs, what industry or field are in you? Do you have a college degree? Do you have an advanced college degree? Do you know what type of job you're looking for? Now days, most people are "Linked In". I've gotten several job offers based on my profile on Linked In ( LinkedIn: Relationships Matter). It's a professional job/networking website. Otherwise, one of the largest employers in the Bradenton is Tropicana - which is owned by PepsiCo. If you navigate the PepsiCo website ( PepsiCo Corporate Site | PepsiCo.com), you should locate the career database to search for jobs in Bradenton. The job market in Florida is really tough. It's who you know that will get you the job. It's what you know...that will keep you there. This is not an absolute...but pretty close.
