North Port is a 35 minute bus ride to Pine View. Pine View School is one of the very few schools that doesn't have boundary lines for attendance. You can live anywhere in Sarasota county and attend as long as you pass the testing requirements. I have attended both Charlotte county schools and my kids have as well and I much prefer
Sarasota county schools. I moved from Charlotte county to Sarasota county so my kids could attend Sarasota county schools. I did find this list of grades from a few years ago for Sarasota county:

Some of the Englewood schools that are in
Charlotte county are rated pretty high: Englewood Elementary (which I attended), Vineland Elementary, LA Ainger Middle (which I attended) and Lemon Bay would be the high school. These are the schools for the southern half of Englewood in Charlotte county.
Knowing some of the schools in Charlotte county like I do, it surprises me how some of the schools got an "A". Actually, I'm very surprised at many of the schools.
Last I heard both
Charlotte and Sarasota were "A" rated districts. It will be interesting to see others peoples view on this subject
