We are looking in the Sarasota area and would consider 20 miles north or south. We want to rent first to get more familiar with the area before we decide where to buy. I'm guessing there are a lot of new construction homes somewhere that will let me rent instead of buy. Also, I have 2 younger kids and would love a gated community with pool, sports, and other activities if possible. thanks in advance.
