If, on the other hand, you think it's gross because they're in public -- in which case you would also think it's gross if it were a hetero couple -- you'd find more people would agree that a beach is an inappropriate place for such a sexual encounter. So, is it the act, the participants, or the location that compels you to vomit?

It is disgusting, rather it be two men, two women, or a man and a women. It was just plain disgusting. That is the sort of thing that is meant to be done in privacy, no matter who you are or who you love.

Who are you classifying as homophobes? Just because somebody doesn't want to see a couple having sex on the beach, and that couple just happened to be two men, does that classify that person as a homophobe? Please clarify that for us.

Oh gimme a break. Your finding more of an argument with me being disgusted by it than the fact that one man was giving another man a BJ in public with kids and families around. Get off my back about being disgusted about it already. I think what I think, college educated or not.
Redneck heritage? Brought up that way? No.

If you look up Barefoot Beach in Collier County, you'll see it's a gorgeous community of multi-million dollar homes on a pristine beach. There is a county beach at the end of the gated community that's accessible from early morning to dusk. Anyway, I used to take long walks at sunset in the summer. One evening I couldn't believe my eyes as I noticed a man masturbating among the sea oats.
If he began playing with himself as I walked by, chances are he wasn't gay. Performing sexually explicit acts in public is disgusting and perverted no matter who you are.

Sad to say, maybe it's time to find another beach. I've gone to Nokomis Beach many times and never had to deal with this kind of nonsense. It's just a bit north of Caspersen. Here's a map that shows where it is in relation to Caspersen. Maybe you want to try there.

mrcool's favorite drink is sex on the beach. However, by that we mean what SoFlGal means, not what was going on on THIS beach!!

I think gays wearing skimpy bathing suits and having sex on a public beach is disgusting! It's also disgusting how these sickos (who should be shot) wear tiny thongs and jiggle their bosoms in the faces of drunk men on spring break all across the country (which is broadcast all around the world on TV), or that they visit thousands of strip joints a year where they pay money to have sex with women in g-strings dancing around poles, or that they have turned entire districts of cities (where families can no longer walk safely!) into places where they pick up whores at night, or that they have sex on the lawn at Buckingham Palace (two days ago) or at sports stadiums, or that they have created global industries designed to traffic in women and children for sex, or that every NASCAR, boxing and football event features some scantily clad 'ho in a pushup bra prancing around like a harlot, or that they have nude campgrounds and beaches all across the country, or that they get naked and have sex in public at festivals, like sturgis... hey... wait!. Those are straight people! Doh!
PS... I forgot massage parlors.

I let them know I was reporting this illegal behavior and they did not seem worried in the least. Is it now acceptable to have sex on the beach? Did I miss a law change? There were families with young children walking down this beach towards them. I let them know what was ahead, but this should never be necessary on a PUBLIC beach.Yes I did call the police and I will follow up, but that is not enough, more people need to speak up and put a stop to this behavior. We need to take the beach back from the perverts. The beach is for ALL of us to enjoy and no one group should have the audasity to think they own a section for themselves. And before someone writes that I'm gay bashing, let me say I do not care what your preference is and any sexual act on the beach is illegal and unacceptable.
|
Gay bashing??? implying we choose to be gay is bashing or ignorance.I have seen many a heterosexual couple copulating, on the beach and especially often on television beach scenes.I would not call the police however.
