When my husband and I stayed at Fort Myers Beach this winter, we spent a few hours at the Fleamasters flea market in Fort Myers. It was amazing! Are there any flea markets and/or farmer's markets in or near North Port?
Thanks!
Marcia

There is a flea market on the corner of veterens and murdock circle. Across from Target. Small compared to the ft. myers one. There used to be a produce guy there. Not sure if he is there anymore.

There's a Farmers Market every Saturday at the North Port Commons from 8-2. This article was in the paper when they were trying to start it up. I think they have way more than 25 vendors now:

For flea markets there's The Sun Flea Market in Port Charlotte, The Dome in Englewood, The Red Barn in Bradenton and then Fleamasters in Ft Myers.

Thanks for the info. We visited great farmer's markets in CA where our son lives. Locally, it's a seasonal thing We do have a nice farm market not too far from us that does a lot of growing under greenhouses with hydroponics.

I'm looking forward to our visit
