Exactly!!!! I REALLY don't want to spend another winter here. I'm not at all a fan of the cold. I've always said it was cruel of my parents to have had me in this climate. Here's why: When you're raising children you would like them to be close to their grandparents, so you don't want to move away with them. Then, as your kids are growing up they don't want to leave because of family and friends. Then, I imagine, as soon as your kids grow up and move out and start families of their own, you want to be there for them so you're stuck in this crappy climate forever!!!
That's why I think we better move ASAP. Our kids are 11 and 4 and they'll adjust. I do feel bad about taking them away from their granparents, but they'll all be retired within the next year and then they can come and visit us!!! Mostly I'm nervous, because we won't have our families to help us out in a pinch with child care. Oh well. Gotta cut the cord sometime, right?
