Default Altoona Ave at Cranberry/Price Blvd in North Port
I've been looking at a short term rental on this street until we look around some more before purchasing and was told it is a nice area. Any opinions?

Altoona should be fine as long as the home doesn't back up to Price Blvd. If it does you might get some road noise. They are also doing that road construction one street over so that may be bothersome for a while.

Like I advised another poster, call the NP Police, go there at night and on the weekends, also ask the neighbors how they like the neighborhood. You might want to check the Florida Sexual Predators list as well if you have children.
