Question about recent real estate activity
I have been watching several condos on SK and LBK for some time now. In the last 2 weeks half of those are no longer listed and I assume sold/offered. Some of these condos have been on the market for a year and the list prices hadn't changed so I was surprised at all the activity. I should add that the condos that I am watching are all on the low-end of prices, under $250k, and as of last week there were at least 4 on Siesta Key under $200k. They are all gone today.
Are you guys noticing that the low-end properties are moving? One wonders if these are speculators acting on the news about June home sales being higher than anticipated.

Yeah, that's way on the low end. Silly, everyone on city-data has plenty more money than that.

200-250k is the low end on Siesta Key, unfortunately.

Yes, we are seeing a big change in activity. Like you mentioned, many of the homes that have been sitting on the market are now moving. I haven't had time to pull stats lately but I'll try to pull some in the next few days.

Disregard the original post, the website I have been using was messed up and nothing under $225k was showing. Then on Wednesday I noticed all the properties in question had returned. Damn realtor.com
