Default Palmetto
We're considering moving from Myakka to Palmetto and am interested in anybody's thoughts and/or views on the place. Cops? Flooding (on the River)? Former hurricanes? Any advice or opinions welcome.

What part of palmetto?

Default Palmetto area?
I guess it would be considered the SW area? On the river west of 41 and south of tenth.

I personally, really like that area. We love those restaurants on Regatta Pointe, and that park is such a great place to go. I don't know about flooding, but it is an area that I would consider living in myself.
