Default What is the Best Rental Property in Sarasota?!?!?

If you have read some of the other Threads that I started, you will know that I am planning to move to the Sarasota/Bradenton area early next year. While I have gone back and forth about BUYING a Home vs. RENTING an apartment, I have decided that renting will be best.

I have been to numeorus apartment websites researching viable leasing options in Sarasota. I have come across some decent properties, but after reading the reviews posted by current and past tenants, I have become very disappointed. The Palmer Ranch area seems to be very nice, but the Rental properties like Citation and Saratoga (although nice on the outside) seem to be crime ridden and noisy w/ less than caring staff.

Serenata Condominiums (with units for rent) is now my first choice. Can anyone tell me about this property?

Other properties that I am considering are:
1. Janie's Garden
2. Tradition at Palm Aire
3. Gateway Lakes
4. Colonial Grand at Lakewood Ranch
5. Saratoga Place

Can anyone recommend a luxury or the best rental property in Sarasota?!?!? Perhaps this secret gem is not online...

I am willing to pay $1200 for a 2 bedroom apartment with comfort, safety, and nice ammenities. Are their any rental properties in Sarasota that have become popular with young corporate professionals?

My co-workers are steering me away from Bradenton. Is Bradenton really that bad??? I would consider living in Bradenton if I found a really nice apartment complex with shopping nearby. Let me know if there are any nice apartment complexes in Bradenton that I should consider.

IMHO you have made a wise choice which may be unbeatable.
You may also want to look at Parkridge and Parkstone in the Palmer Ranch area, and Tara off Tara Blvd SR 70
