Some of us have been thinking of setting something up at one of the parks where we can have a relaxed picnic setting during the day and early evening. Maybe at a park where we can anchor our boats near-by, tie a few together and see a sunset from the boats. At Ponce De Leon Park in PGI they have barbeque grilles, picnic tables, a play ground, and a great view of the water. They also have a fishing pier, and at the pier we can pick up some people and give them a boat ride and shuttle them out to the boats. There is plenty of parking, and people can come and go as they please, and it wouldn't be very expensive either. This would be good for the whole family!
excellent idea. our kids are old enough that we can leave them for a few hours, however, sounds like others dont have kids that they can leave and if they have no family down here might it be impossible to get a nite out.

That could be a fun day!
Sounds good to me, that park is a terrific place.

That is a possibility - The Sunshines are due in on the 30th. I've been waiting for them to get her to schedule one. So this is a heads up!

I spoke with SoFlaGal and Mr.Sunshine today, and we are going to schedule something when I get back down, so I'll keep you posted as to when and where the next meet up is to be held. We would definitely love to have you come and be our photographer!

I will DM invite a number of my friends, create a thread announcing it, and post the invite here too. Everyone is welcome. I also want to check with a few people to see if I can get some kind of consensus when the most people can make it. Usually on a Saturday evening, so work shouldn't conflict.
