Hopefully our will not sit too long, virtual tour/picture guy coming in on Monday and first OH on Wed. Fingers crossed.
Also, of all of the areas that you mentioned, is Ashton the Elementary school? It is difficult to tell which is the actual school that some of the areas fall into. What is the best way to tell?

Yeah, all the places I mentioned are in Palmer Ranch and that's Ashton school district.

NIKKIMAMMA,
We live in Palm Harbor in Pinellas County ( the largest county in Florida )that includes some of the nicest beaches on the Gulf. We are 15 - 20 minutes from Clearwater Beach and various other beaches right down to St. Pete. The school systems are decent and home prices are low. The Tampa Bay area has more working families than Sarasota and much to see and do. It may offer more bang for the buck and I think you would be pleasantly surprised if you check it out. Also, it might offer more job opportunities than Sarasota. Just my two cents. Best of luck again on the "Big move" and welcome to the Sunshine State.

Good Luck! I hope it moves fast for you. In this market it really has to be priced right. All buyers are looking to make a rediculous deal right now. And, unfortunately they are out the to make.
If it gets too painful though, I know a guy who give a great massage! LOL

Thanks Ray,
I took a quick look at Palm Harbor the other day (from the computer of course!!) and homes/area looks quite nice and the schools seem excellent. I will definitely take a look around the area when we finally get down to do some "real" research.

Awwww! You are a champ! Your husband should give you a break! Tomorrow you can relax, mow the lawn, and trim the hedges, vacuum the house, finish the laundry, and make dinner! Cuz you're the wife and you're special! Then, . . . well (I can't discuss that because this is a family oriented thread) and thoughts like that are not appropriate for me! So, . . . stop it!
