We are planning a scouting trip to the Sarasota/Bradenton area and will fly into Tampa. Our flight would not get in until around 9:00 pm and we would like to get out of the Tampa area before the morning commuters! Any suggestions of a decent budget friendly hotel in the Bradenton area? We will most likely spend one night there, then move on down to Sarasota for a night or two, then back to Tampa to stay before flying out.

There is a Hampton Inn right off the Ellenton exit- its the 1st exit after you get on I-75...then about 20-25 minutes to SRQ depending on where you need to go.
