The year after the Redskins beat the Bills in the Super Bowl. I went to the super market (in Burtonsville, MD a suburb of Washington, DC). Well I got all my goodies, crab meat, chips, chicken wings (for Buffalo Style - I'm a good cooker  ), sodas, etc .................................................. ....... .................................................. ... (lotsa stuff).
Anyway, this year the Bills are going in the Superbowl - AGAIN! And they are playing the Cowboys! Well the whole time I'm shopping and walking the aisles (in all my Bills, stuff of course) - everyone is talking smack and giving me all kindsa crap!!!! I just look at them and with a huge smile! They ask me what I'm smiling about! And, when I tell them that they are Redskins Fans, and they are rooting for the Cowboys, They all just shook their heads, frowned, looked at their feet, and said "Yeah - You're Right! - Good Luck!!!!!" It was just Glorious! Ever since then, even though we lost to the Cowboys! - I have always Owned the Redskins Fans! I can play them like my puppets! Of course they are the worst of all my toys!  Do you hear me Mr. Sunshine!

The only reason the Vikes are any good at all is, they have all the Packers ex-players and coaches  We will stomp you in the playoffs ha ha.
We will watch the games there the weekend after Thanksgiving They also have a great view acoss Charlotte Harbor. |

It is going to be a good day today!
I know My team is going to show up!
I will be showing up at Portofino's to watch them!
I hope others attend! It is going to be just beautiful, sunny, breezy, on the water, my team is going to win, it's a great place to hang, all the games will be on, and I'm going to drink my favorite beer - several times! ;-) For those of you that don't make it - I'll toast your team as I watch them lose! ;-))) I hope you all join me for a great victory!

It was still a pleasant day, despite that unexpected set-back! I met some pretty nice people there! A group of people came up from Boca Grande, and our new friend / waitress / bar tender was a second generation Punta Gordian. She told us a ton of neat stuff about the area, and some other fun things we should consider doing! We had fun! |
