Moving to Sarasota & Starting Professional Office - How Hard Is It? (professionals)

For those who are professionals who moved to the Sarasota area and started a business, can you tell me whether it worked out for you? I am definitely planning on making the move eventually, but I fear that I have picked the wrong time to be considering it, in light of the economy, etc.

I hope not to have to wait too long before making the move, because regardless of when I move, I'm going to have to start establishing my business all over again and that takes time, so I'd prefer to get started sooner than later.

I read a lot of doom and gloom on this board and it really scares me. I know people are trying to get people to think before they act, but too much doom means you never feel you can take the chance. So I hope that people who have actually started up professional businesses can advise how it went, how long it took to get established, and whether it would be better to wait or if I can make a go at it.
