Gangs are Cowards -
There's a trial going on in Bradenton Florida - where A member of a gang Linked to SUR-13, shot a 9 year old kid...
The local news states that if this bonehead is convicted, they are afraid of retaliation against the local officials and jury members...
So...?
Let them come out of their crack houses - and into the open, where the police can accommodate them to their new holding facility.
Why terrorize the public?
The reason they're in gangs is because they can't act on their own.
Tear them apart and no one will have to worry about them.
How did things get this far when people in America are afraid to uphold the law? ...These guys are committing crimes.... and getting away with them, because our legal system has become tremendously weak and too politically correct in order to compensate these thugs on their behavior.
So the next time you kill someone...
Just say you're with a Gang. The local media will terrorize the community into setting you free.

Being that Bradenton is such a lovely city, they decided to make sure the SWAT team was on the roof at the courthouse last night when the jurys verdict was read, just in case things got ugly.
The defendant, a 16 year old gang member was found guilty and will receive his sentence in September. Looking at minimum of 25 years...

Crime is everywhere, gangs are growing and no one does anything about it.
Luckily the one that did kill that child will spend the rest of his life behind bars BUT that will only make the rest angry so I expect to see more gang related violence in the near future because of it.
The police dept. needs to step up and get rid of this hate crime. How? I don't have the answer to that BUT if they can bust drug dealers, they can bust and break up these gangs.
My opinion in this matter is .. .. Hire anyone willing to help, some will do it for free and just go in and massacre all of them. I suggest they go around 9:00 a.m. when all the punks are asleep cause they'd been out all night causing trouble.

There are gangs everywhere and this one happened to be in Bradenton.
They are in Sarasota, Tampa, Miami, Englewood, etc.
They are everywhere and I am glad they chose to have a swat team and snipers prepared and ready. That surely saved some other innocent lives.

You can google "Bradenton Herald" and read the stories...

What our officers, county and city were thinking?
They were probably not informed the gang was coming would be my guess.
Dear Manatee Co. Sheriffs Dept and Citizens,
We are a gang called the SUR 13 and we mean business. We'll be stopping by your town tomorrow to see what vehicles we can steal so you all better stay out of our way or someone will get hurt.
Signed,
The Gang Members
Now really, why would anyone ask what were the cops thinking?
My guess is, they didn't know and when it happened, they did what they had to do but after a gun is fired and a bullet penetrates into someone, it's just a wee bit too late sometimes.
This isn't something that happens in B-town everyday!!

I can go on and on. I have a lot of patients with devastating, life altering injuries due to gun and gang violence. I know FL is not the answer and I know it is certainly not free of any of what I briefly described, but PSL has to be better then this. I want to take a walk with my kids and not be afraid of being harrased. I don't want to see drug deals that block traffic on small side streets. I want to send my kids to school without the sick feeling in my stomach that they will be offered drugs or pressured...but who am I kidding? Well, if anyone knows of this fairtale land let me in on it. How is the crime in PSL?

Your asking your question on the wrong coast. We are on the west coast and PSL is on the east coast.

MS-13 (Mainly Salvadoran) and SUR-13 (Mainly Mexican) are two different gangs.
It is always sad to hear about a life lost from gang violence.
I'm not going to say what I want to say because this isn't the time or thread for it.

That's all just stupid. I'm 52 years old and we did the same thing when I was kid.
Our old sneakers would wear out and we'd get new. Up over the power lines the old ones went.
Yes, it can mean anything. Including some kid got new sneakers!!
