Where is the best place to park and go check out the drum circle? We will be in town for a few days and plan on seeing this on the 21st.

Thanks

Siesta Beach, south side of the lot.

If you park right after the village when the road starts to curve left, little sand lot on the right, short walk up the beach from there

On Sundays the circle is at Siesta Beach. On Saturdays and Wednesdays the drum circle is at Nokomis Beach. I think at Nokomis they also have other musical performers on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

During the summer when I was checking out property, I decided to go to Siesta Beach to watch the sun set. People were pouring in, picnicing and having a grand old time. I didn't realize until I was leaving that they were probably there for the drum circle

Thanks for the info on the drum circles. I now know what nights NOT to go to the beach.

We tried to go check that drum circle out one night after dinner, and we not only could not find a parking space we couldn't get out of the freakin' parking lot! My husband started really fuming, as he doesn't like crowds as it is, and the constant circling and waiting and waiting and waiting to at least get OUT of there was frustrating. No drum circle is worth that to me. Parking at Siesta is just an utter nightmare, which is why I just never go there anymore.

Is it not something that everyone should check out at least once?
