Island Tree Apartments is on Whitmarsh Island. In good traffic, you could make it to IOH in 15 minutes.

Does it have to be an apartment? It might be easier to find a house even closer than out on the Islands. There are no apartments on IOH, except there may be some garage apartments behind some of the larger homes.

There are a few condominium complexes on Norwood that aren't bad. That's just outside of Isle of Hope, less than 5 min away.

15 minutes with good traffic if you use the short cuts. We do it all the time. However, rush hour traffic, 20-25 would be much more likely. LOL Coming FROM Whitmarsh in the morning is the pits!!

I noticed you spelled it "Whitmarsh" Island, Padgett, and I'm supposing that's because it's pronounced that way, right? I called someone about a house the other week, and she pronounced it that way. I didn't ask, but I suppose I should've. :P

There's big arguments about that all the time. It's named after George Whitfield who started Bethesda. Anyway, back when the State of Georgia Prison System was making all the street and road signs....I think it was in the 1950s or thereabouts, they made the signs Whitemarsh. Raised a big stink around Savannah. The Powers That Be said that it would cost too much to remake all of them, and besides, Whitmarsh didn't make any sense, and Whitemarsh did.so we could just learn to live with it. They even tried to dig up old stores about how it used to look white in the early morning fogs. But Whitmarsh is correct. It's been called that since waaaayyyy back then.

If you are really concerned about safety, look to The Landings or Modena on Skidaway Island
no apartments though
