Quite a few duplexes for rent right now on JMB.
Apartment complexes?
Don't know much about them, but The Oaks on Penn Waller come to mind.
And in my travels tomorrow, I can look around.

I live at Buccaneer Trace on Wilmington, very quite....well kept place. I looked at several other communities on the Island and found this community very attractive, good value for the price $795. The folks in the office are attentive and have called us several times since moving in to assure everything was to our satisfaction. Very happy with our choice..... hope this helps!

neither one has a natural beach. They are surrounded by marsh or mud flats.

What about a Mall and movie theater? Is there one on Wilmington Island? Savannah sounds very bad. My house is living in Wilmington now because of work. I am suppose to move there 8n late July. To tell you the truth it sounds just aweful. I'm very nervous to make the move. I have a 15 year old son. My husband told me there are tons of homeless people living under bridges with tents. This was a 4 year old thread. No there are not homeless people under every bridge. Savannah actually pretty nice but it's a mid sized city, not a large one so we lack some of the shops a large city has. Property crime is about medium, violent crime outside of the corner boys gunning each other down is low.

Yes Savannah is a crappy little city. And truth be told, there are several tent cities of homeless. They are right near where you will be, too! Look through the trees under the Truman. Many homeless camps. Definitely don't move here. lol 1 post, won't return.
