Hi!

I'm moving to Savannah in one week and I have a strange question. The 5 times I've been to Savannah I've had a very hard time finding blueberries and wheat grass shots. This probably sounds like I'm a total wanker for wanting such things, but it'll be a hard adjustment for me without them. So does anyone know where I can get these things. The Kroger near my new home in downtown doesn't seem to ever carry blueberries. I have a few other questions but I'll wait to get made fun of for this one first.

Cheers

UH ... what are "wheat grass shots" ???

There's an open-air market (can't remember the name) on Oglethorpe Avenue near East Broad that probably has blueberries. If not, I'm sure Fresh Market or Publix has them.

Blueberries aren't in season right now, are they? I see them at the Piggly Wiggly always when they are. Are you used to getting them all year long? If so, I suspect that some of them are imported from countries with different growing seasons.

I am wondering about the "wheat grass shots" too. ????

wheat grass shots you can pick up at a health food store such as whole foods if you have one near you and yeah blueberries are out of season right now but good luck next season .

Ha!

I'm moving from Chicago so I'm used to having this stuff all year round.

Dig it: Wheatgrass - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

On to my next round of lame questions. Are there any Savannah area haunted houses and/or local costume shops? Google has been awful which leads me to believe there are none. This would sadden me.

The Brighter Day health food store at the south end of Forsyth Park might have wheat grass in some form or another. If they don't, they can tell you where to get it.

You can almost always find blueberries at Publix or Fresh Market.

I don't know where you're looking, but I googled costume shops, Savannah and found several.

ACME costume shop in Garden City on Highway 80 has a lot of costumes and is one of the better shops in the area.
