Default Best Places to Eat In Savannah

My wife and I are going to Savannah for the weekend. What is the best place to eat that is not a tourist trap. So locals or regulars where is that one place where you would eat? We like all kinds of food.

I feel like every time I go to a new city the only places you can find to eat are the places that pay to advertise on visitor sites.

There is a nice Cuban restaurant on MLK, near Liberty Street. There are also several in the Habersham Village (Habersham and 63rd Street) including Bella's (Italian), Bar Food, and a couple of other new ones.

Carey Hillariads is a local favorite for barbecue.

There are a lot of people that actually have their homes within the historic district. It really is full of homes and apartments. These local residents also eat at the "tourist" restaurants. The District is quite different from what you would expect. You have been given some good places to go.
