Thanks to everyone who answered my last questions about relocating to Savannah....I have one more question for you. I will be moving to Savannah in December to attend grad school at SCAD, and my dear boyfriend has obliged to move with me.
This is probably a long shot, but does anyone here work in the architectural sector, or know of any contacts for him as far as getting a job? He is not an architect, but has a liberal arts BS degree, as well as a certificate in architectural drafting. He plans to go back to school for his architecture degree someday, but for now is just looking for an architectural drafting position. Can also possibly do some entry-level civil engineering drafting. I have learned from reading this forum that getting a job in Savannah tends to be based on who you know. Well - we don't know anyone there!
Any advice would be immensely helpful to me (contacts, good companies or firms to check out, opinions on the job market for such positions, etc.) , since he has to support me while I'm in school!
