Default HELP - we need to sell our house in Savannah.

We have had our house on the market 2 months and only 3 people have even looked at it. I know there are tons of stories out there about the subprime loan industry going belly up, but where are all the qualified buyers? It should not affect them at all.

I am sorry for the rant, I am extremely frustrated. We have our new house being built, as we speak, and it should be completed in 2 months - YIKES!

Any advise on getting people to even look at our home would be great.

BTW, we live in a very desirable area. No other homes in our neighborhood are even for sale, and there are no rentals on our street. The neighborhood is awesome! Even a good school district for Savannah (our kids are at SCPS).

We opened a business in Pooler, and the drive is way too much for us. We need to be closer - some one help please!

Thanks for any advise!

If you have it with a good Realtor that has the home in the MLS and has giving you good advice to make your home look very desirable then you are really doing all you can do.

The Real Estate market in the United States is what it is and still has not bottomed out. The majority of people have their houses over priced and until sellers get realistic buyers aren't going to give them the time of day. If you aren't getting any interest you might want to check your price.

We are trying to do any an all marketing that is legal within our contract (although if we actually found a buyer we would give them to our realtor) like putting up directional signs all over the area, craigslist, etc.

Anyother suggestions, we are willing to listen.

Thanks again!

My last post was edited with the specific info you asked for, I guess I am not allowed to post that. If you would like to email me I would be happy to give you that information.

Be sure to mention the Stephens-Day tax exemption for Chatham County homeowners that any prospective buyer might benefit from.
