Default Looking for ocean access home for 60' catamarran preferably not on barrier island

I have a 60' catamaran and am considering relocating to savannah georgia area. I'm interested in purchasing a home and in the initial stages of my search. I don't want to be on a barrier island, however, I need ocean access for my boat which is 60' long with 30' beam. Would appreciate any helpful suggestions such as good realtor and or areas that would be suitable.

If you don't want a barrier island, that eliminates anything on the Intercoastal Waterway.

Your best bet would be a home in Savannah, and keep your boat in one of the Marinas. The ones at Isle of Hope, Whitmarsh and Wilmington Islands and Thunderbolt would all give you access to the ocean by way of the rivers of the Intercoastal Waterway. I don't know if the marina at Skidaway Island is just for property owners or not.

Thunderbolt is on the mainland, but housing in that area is scarce. There's some dispute as to whether Isle of Hope is one of the barrier islands or a sandy pennisular that sticks out from the mainland. It might be just what you are looking for.
