Not sure what you mean by this -- the "other end" of Pooler Parkway, south of US 80 and nearer I-16? That's Savannah Quarters and is actually nicer than Godley Station. And

I only meant the other areas besides Godley Station, I'm not from Savannah and the only part of Pooler I know about is near the airport area by Godley Station and the apartments. How big is Pooler exactly? I guess my question should have been besides Godley Station, how is the rest of Pooler?

And adding to that, is there any part of Pooler I should stay away from, being that I have a child?

Pooler is pretty big and getting bigger by the day. Lots of open land to still build on. Most of the city is designated PUD (planned developlment) with village-style neighborhoods. Godley Station is just part of it. Rumor is a new mall is in the planning stages. All the schools are new and good, with older kids zoned to the New Hampstead High which just opened this year.

You'll want to stay west of I-95 and south of Jimmy DeLoach Parkway. There's not much residential east of I-95 anyway; that's all airport and industrial.

We are in "vintage" Pooler, off of 80, and in a little gem of a neighborhood with a parade of lighted, decorated golf carts for Halloween and a Luminaria on Christmas Eve. Don't dismiss the older, tucked away areas of Pooler.

Gentlearts, I never knew you lived in Pooler! You always came across as a Southside gal.

Will you be working in that area? There is a lot more interesting areas in Chatham County than the Westside. If you are "church goers" maybe a few questions on what you are expecting in that area. We have pockets of Irish Catholics, Jews, Southern Baptist, and what ever...all over the place.

Well, you could move to Pooler, where I saw my neighbor walking around in his garage naked. That was pretty exciting.
