My family will be spending the Thanksgiving holiday on Tybee Island. Can anyone suggest a good restaurant for our Thanksgiving dinner. We do not have to eat turkey - in fact, some would prefer something else. What we do like is good food. We will be six adults - no need for a child-friendly restaurant.

Other than the fact that advertising is not allowed (these people really annoy me) there is no Fatz on Tybee Island.

Honestly, I'm not sure what will be open for dinner on Thanksgiving anywhere in Savannah or on Tybee. We're sort of a small town (for a metro area) in that respect. Real restaurant owners will probably want to be at home with their families. There will be exceptions, but my guess is you won't have much to choose from.

Try doing a search of restaurants on Tybee and start making phone calls.

A post advertising a restaurant has been deleted. That's all. Overt advertising is not allowed on City Data. You can advertise all you want on Tybee, if that is your concern.

No. not really . I jsut want to make sure I do not post anything that should not be here, I was thinking we cannot state what resturants are open. I will be there for Thanksgiving because I love it there, and I really just want to get away from everything here, After my father was murdered 2 years ago and I lost 4 family members just this year, I just want to be elsewhere,
I just will probably stay at the saebreeze and look for something or get a room with a way to cook my on, Besides the people that live in Tybee, That I have met are always very nice.
so much nicer than some of the other beaches I have been to. But I thought you meant you cannot even put the name of a resturant in here.

Hi try this site for Tybee Tybee Island Online – Tybee Island, GA / Savannah’s Beach Vacation Planning Guide click on the restaurants and then call and ask if they will be open. I liked Hunter house for Thanksgiving. But I think big hotels are the place to go on thanksgiving since they usually have a big buffet. We have one here I would try the Dolphin Reef I am going to ask them if they will be having one. Come enjoy my island and my sincerest condolences to you. I feel for you as I know how it is to lose loved ones and holidays. Tybee is the best place to be!

Savannah/surrounding area is a tourist destination and it seems the holidays would bring tourists so there should be some good food available.

Uncle Bubba's on Wilmington Island/Whitemarsh will offer a buffet.

I'm pretty sure I visited my friend around Thanksgiving when she moved to Tybee. A good time to be at the beach.
