My husband and I have talked about moving to the Savannah area when he is finished with school in about 2 years. From what I've read, the schools are good in Richmond Hill and South Effingham County. What I haven't heard about is the special educaton in any of the schools. We have a son that is autistic and he will be in 7th or 8th grade when we move. We can't afford private school and we have learned that sometimes the school system might have a good reputation and not have a good special education program. Does anyone any advise?
